About Us

ADAPT4Autism was founded in 2010 by Christina Gibson-Cipfl and Alice Howe.  The goal of Chris, an autism educator, and Alice, a parent of a child with autism, was to create an organization specifically geared to assist families and children in Southwestern Illinois dealing with autism spectrum disorders.  ADAPT4Autism provides educational programs and pro-social therapy to children with autism.

Our Vision:
The Vision of ADAPT4Autism is to provide children with autism or other neurological disabilities the social skills necessary to actively enjoy all community settings.

Our Mission:
The mission of ADAPT4Autism is to teach positive pro-social skills to children that struggle with socialization, emotional development, independence, and overall language development. Through multi-faceted group sessions and community outings, this creative approach to social awareness is essential for quality of life.
